“In Another Antonio’s shadow”

Since we first met in 2001, guitar maker Erik Pierre Hofmann and I collaborated in many ways. I recorded and played concerts on instruments he either built or restored. As a logical continuation of the bonus CD I recorded in 2011 for the book Stauffer & Co., and more recently the videos I produced featuring pieces by Mertz, Schulz and others on historical guitars, I now have the pleasure to present the result of our most recent collaboration. As to add a sound track to Erik’s latest article – “In Another Antonio’s Shadow” – I have produced three videos on the very guitar that inspired said publication.
